  • One of our core responsibilities as attorneys is to educate and guide individuals toward solutions designed to protect their futures and align with their personal goals. Today was a fantastic day for education at Lihn Law Group! Rachael Mitchell led an insightful session at the Barrow Neurological Dementia with Dignity (DWD) support group, helping families navigate the complexities of VA Pension Benefits—a crucial resource for veterans and their loved ones. Caleb Lihn, JD, LL.M., CELA had the opportunity to engage with a packed room at the Buckeye Senior Center, discussing Estate Planning and Long-Term Care Planning—empowering seniors with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. We’re passionate about sharing knowledge that makes a difference. If you or your organization are interested in a presentation on estate planning, elder law, or VA benefits, let’s connect! #EstatePlanning #ElderLaw #VABenefits #LifeCarePlanning #EducationMatters

  • Last week, Rachael, Jenny, Stacey, and Caleb from our Lihn Law Group team traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida, for the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association Annual Conference. We had the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and strengthen best practices with fellow professionals dedicated to holistic elder care services. One of the most powerful moments? Experiencing the Embodied Labs VR dementia training firsthand. Through immersive virtual reality, we stepped into the shoes of individuals facing Alzheimer’s, Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson’s, and even the end-of-life experience of a cancer patient. This gave us a deeper, more personal perspective on the daily realities our clients and their families face. 💡 Key Takeaways from the conference: - Proactive life care planning helps families avoid crisis-driven decision-making. - A deep dive into the mental health continuum in older adults. - The power of integrating life care planning alongside estate planning to maximize independence and longevity. - How cutting-edge VR training enhances empathy and understanding of dementia and aging. - The importance of blending legal and social work perspectives to provide truly holistic care for seniors. At Lihn Law Group, we’re always looking ahead—what’s one innovation you think will transform elder care in the next five years? #ElderLaw #LifeCarePlanning #HolisticElderCare #DementiaCare #EstatePlanning #CareAdvocacy #LifeCarePlanningLawFirmsAssociation #ElderCareLaw #LLG
