During the Q&A at the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, an interesting question was raised: "Will the need for a manned Operations Control Center (OCC) be reduced over time?" While it’s early to predict staffing changes, our CEO, Jia-Ru Li, explained that the current OCC requires a three-person crew for dispatching, communications and passenger applications, and infrastructure monitoring. The costs for a small team managing 9 vehicles over extended hours are significantly lower than the 10-15 people needed for traditional operations. Most importantly, our ART system reinforces safety through the OCC and a CBTC-like signal interlocking system. Our participation in the “Safety Considerations and Best Practices for Advancing ADAS and AV Technologies” session demonstrates our commitment to prioritizing safety—beyond just a tech showcase. The audience's strong interest affirmed that we’re on the right path with our safety-first approach.
