Incredible Growth at Limoneira: Q3 Avocado Revenue Surges Over 300%!   “This achievement is a direct result of not only good farming practices but also favorable climatic conditions and the much-welcomed rains, which have helped leach accumulated salts from the soil after the preceding dry years. Our farming team recognizes that successful farming is a blend of nature’s gifts, human innovation, and teamwork. With the support of cutting-edge technologies and data-backed farming decisions, we’ve been able to capitalize on favorable weather conditions, ensuring sustainable, high-quality production even during changing environmental conditions. This remarkable growth reflects our ongoing commitment to data-driven strategies, sustainable farming, and harnessing the power of nature through innovative approaches. We look forward to continued success as we navigate the future of agriculture!” – Herman Els, Agronomy Manager

In 2021, our latest solar installation, located on top of our packing facility, went live, producing a whopping 1,200 MWh of clean energy annually. That's enough power to keep around 100 homes running for an entire year! This installation not only helps power our operations but also reduces our environmental impact. It's another step in our journey toward a sustainable future.

In times of need, coming together to help others is what matters most. 💛 Limoneira contributed to relief efforts in North Carolina, providing much-needed donations to communities affected by Hurricane Helene. With the help of our Regional Sales Manager, Kimberly Mangum, and her son, Sullivan, who both live in North Carolina, we worked alongside local partners like W.R. Vernon and Houston Transportation to deliver food, household essentials, and pet supplies. We're honored to have supported the incredible relief efforts during this time. A special thank you to the North Carolina State Troopers who helped escort the donations, ensuring they reached those in need. And a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this meaningful mission. To everyone affected by Hurricane Helene, we stand with you and your communities.

We're not just harnessing the power of the sun—we're storing it too! Through our partnership with Tesla, Limoneira uses cutting-edge battery technology to store solar energy during the day and use it at night or when the sun isn't shining. This gets us one step closer to our goals for clean energy operations.

In the 1940s, Limoneira developed an exceptional variety of lemons, the Limco 8A, which was cultivated in our Olivelands 8-A Orchard. This particular lemon exhibits greater resistance to disease, yields more fruit, is high in quality, and has an extended shelf life. The Limco 8A remains one of the standard bearers in global lemon production. At Limoneira, innovation drives our mission to deliver the very best in citrus.
