Hiring for Offshore - Electrician We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and repairs on systems, equipment, and facilities. The role involves installing, dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and replacing faulty parts in various electrical systems. 14/14 Schedule Key Responsibilities: ~ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment. ~ Install, wire, and troubleshoot low-voltage up to 480 vac-3 phase switch panels, disconnects, and motor control center devices ~ Utilize test instruments, such as analog and digital multimeter, AC/DC Clamp Ammeter, Tone Generators/Tracers (Fox and Hound), Megger, to diagnose issues and verify repairs. ~ Plan layouts and perform installations of cables, devices, and solar panel systems. ~ Identify root causes of system issues using technical principles and make necessary repairs or arrange additional support. ~ Follow safety standard and ensure compliance with codes and regulations during all tasks. ~ Will be required to perform other duties as requested. Callout mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing the facility's natural gas compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment, as well as diesel and natural gas engines. Candidates must have 4 years of experience and a strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of rotating offshore machinery, such as compressors, pumps, and natural gas and diesel engines, is required.
