Feeling that pre-Thanksgiving tension? Maybe some keyboard warriors are about to become face-to-face conversations. After years of moving from hotheaded debates to meaningful discussions, here's what I've learned: Look for what you appreciate in others – even those who challenge you. The world would be boring if we were all the same. Here's a practical tip: Have a challenging relative or friend coming? (Let's call them Uncle Frank for you Home Alone fans 😉) Try this: - Call them before Thanksgiving if possible - Share one specific thing you appreciate about them - Express that family matters more than differences Appreciation of others can help in tense situations, even if you really don’t appreciate a certain aspect of someone’s behavior. Gratitude as a manner of living has tremendous benefit as we’ve all heard. The science backs this up: Dr. Robert Emmons' research shows gratitude practitioners are happier, less stressed, build better relationships, and even sleep better. I’ll link to his bio in the captions. Remember, if the conversation gets heated, there's always the wishbone to settle things 😂 Drop a "🙏" if you're committed to bringing more gratitude to your table this year. Happy Thanksgiving – I am grateful for you. That’s a fact! #AttitudeOfGratitude #ThanksgivingSpirit #FamilyFirst #PersonalGrowth #Leadership #MentorshipMatters

Let's keep it going with opportunity cost. Not just financially, but in terms of your most precious resource: time. I was business planning with a group of incredible salespeople this morning - Here's a challenge: Can you reclaim just 25 minutes each day from distractions or tasks you ought not be doing? Twenty-five minutes redirected to your most productive activities? Do the math: 25 minutes a day Over 5 days: 125 minutes – just over 2 hours In 48 working weeks: 100 HOURS For some of my clients, that's equivalent to 10 additional sales per year. Multiply that by your average income per sale. Twenty-five minutes a day with more intentional focus. That's all it takes to transform your productivity and potential. What can you reduce that doesn’t get you the greatest return? What will you do with that time that will make the biggest difference? Let’s Close the Momentum Gap: https://bit.ly/416Looy

OPPORTUNITY COST: The Hidden Price of Your Choices What you gain (or lose) by choosing one path over another. Every "yes" is a "no" to something else Every hour spent scrolling is an hour not spent growing Every dollar invested here can't be invested there Quick Exercise: What ONE thing could you add to significantly impact your life/business? More importantly: What do you need to ELIMINATE to make room for it? Common opportunity costs we ignore: - Binge-watching vs. skill-building - Gossiping vs. networking - Mindless scrolling vs. mindful growth - Procrastination vs. progress Remember: The true cost of activities that don't serve you isn't just time lost—it's the potential gains you'll never see. Question for you: What's one thing you'll eliminate this week to make room for growth? Drop it in the comments! #PersonalGrowth #BusinessGrowth #OpportunityCost
