Proprietary Backtesting Software: A carrier IUL illustration assumes a static positive return every year, which is the average of every 25-year rolling period over the last 65 years. But the reality is, the S&P 500 doesn’t produce a positive return every year. So we built a hypothetical proxy for the premium financed IUL, where we can simulate how the cash value might have performed during times of volatility. Spoke to a group of bankers and CPAs today about premium financed life insurance at a bank in Boston. Tomorrow I’ll be hosting my own event in Vermont at National Life Group’s HQ.

Thank you to all the veterans that have served our country, for enduring challenges that us civilians cannot even fathom, and for doing the work that has given many of us the luxury of the freedoms we enjoy (and often times take for granted). I do not take these luxuries for granted, and so today we honor you and your military brothers and sisters that went to heaven in the process of protecting us civilians. Thank you for your service.

Spoke at this private roundtable meeting last night, hosted by FFR & Penn Mutual. I talked about how to use premium financed life insurance as a hedge against risk inside an investment portfolio. I built an algorithm that calculated what percentage of a vlient’x potfolio can be reallocated toward alt investments by doing so. I also talked about ways to communicate with bereaved clients that are grieving a tremendous loss.
