Our friends at Music Declares Emergency Emergency are celebrating their fifth birthday this month. Through their NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET campaign, MDE have helped to put music at the heart of the climate conversation, reaching over 550 million music fans with the support of over 4000 recording artists. Their NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET Movement, launched this year to bring the power of fandom into their work, has recruited close to 10,000 UK music fans, all taking positive actions that make a difference, whilst their groups across the globe are framing global responses for music to the climate emergency.
