✨ What a great 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 we have had in the 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮! This video just shows a glimpse at some of the events and great views that made up the year. ⬇️ Below are a few highlights. ✂️ We 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 1️⃣1️⃣ ribbon cuttings and 3️⃣7️⃣ new members 🥳 We had 1️⃣5️⃣ amazing 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦, not including events that other great organizations put on in the community 🌊 We got to meet and welcome hundreds of people visiting our area and discovering what it means to 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗘 🔆 We held three new 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀, our business after hours networking events, and six 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 for our members to join in on. 🫶 We had 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 from our sponsors, volunteers, and all those who participated and attended our events—none of them would be possible without you! 🌅 We saw too many 𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 to count—in all seasons! 🌌 The 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 visited us again, and again 🤩 🌳 There were 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 to be had by both our locals and visitors—hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, boating, snowmobiling…and more! 🌟 We celebrated 𝗔𝗺𝘆 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗻 for her 20 years as our Executive Director before she headed into retirement, and welcomed 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲 into that role. Additionally, we added 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗽 to our team as our office and event administrator, and welcomed back 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗺. We had various staff changes but are so thankful for the team we have had and currently have. 🥂 We are leaving 2024 feeling 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 for our community—the businesses, the people who live here, and the people who visit and love it as much as we do. We can’t wait to see what’s in store in 2025!

We couldn’t let the day pass without a special, wintery #ThrowbackThursday of our depot! Snow covered railroad tracks, long before the bike path, and long before the depot was converted into our office. We are bummed the photo doesn’t have a date on it, but since it’s missing the “Montague/Whitehall” sign, we know it’s one of the oldest ones we’ve found of it! #livewhitelake #tbt

This past October at our Chamber Annual Dinner we recognized 20 businesses that were celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2024. Of the 20, eight of them were present to receive their award and receive recognition. We want to also congratulate those businesses that were mentioned at the dinner but unable to attend. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮! Our friends at Shoreline Roofing & Gutters and Shoreline Restoration & Construction LLC partnered with us to work with CatchMark Technologies to have a new camera overlooking White Lake. This is located right toward the center of the bridge on top of Shoreline Roofing & Gutters. It's the perfect view of White Lake, and while today is a bit snowy and dreary, we can't wait to see all the views this camera will catch. It will be another great tool for people to see the lake whether for boating, kayaking, fishing, or to just enjoy the beauty of it.
