LIFE is offering an online information session on Tuesday, November 19 at 4:00 PM to learn about SSI/SSDI wage reporting and the responsibilities of rep payees. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is conducting reviews, especially for individuals who have not been reporting wages. SSA is also looking for back payment from individuals who have been working and not reporting.   It is crucial that all adults receiving SSI/SSDI report their wages monthly, and understand their role as rep payee, LIFE's role in reporting wages, how LIFE can help, and when it is primarily the rep payee's responsibility. We welcome Cate Massey as LIFE's Director of Development. She will be helping to create a sustainable fundraising program to support and enhance all of the programs and services throughout LIFE. Cate brings a decade of experience supporting nonprofit organizations and driving fundraising efforts. She lives in Lakeville, MA with her partner Jared, his two teenagers, and her own two elementary-aged kids. As both a parent and family member of individuals on the autism spectrum, Cate is especially excited to support the important work of LIFE. Cate will be based primarily in LIFE's Cordage Park office, though she will be frequently at LIFE's other locations.
