LKQ UK and Ireland

Motor Vehicle Manufacturing

LKQ UK and Ireland is the UK’s largest distributor of parts and accessories for vehicles, leisure, and marine.

About us

We are an integrated group of four market-leading businesses, which comprise the largest and leading distributor of parts and accessories for all makes of car, motorbike and commercial vehicles, caravan, motorhome, and marine sectors. We’re part of the LKQ Corporation, a Fortune 500 company which is the world’s largest auto parts provider. Each of our businesses – LKQ Euro Car Parts, LKQ Bodyshop, LKQ Leisure & Marine and Digraph – is the biggest in its respective markets and has the broadest product availability, as well as the largest geographic coverage of any of their competitors. But parts and products are just one facet of our group. We are also a major provider of professional training courses - LKQ Euro Car Parts and LKQ Bodyshop are the largest training providers in their industries through independently accredited, best-in-classes courses from LKQ Academy. We’re helping to equip people like auto technicians with the skills they need in the industry’s future, such as to work on EVs, and on how to market their businesses and provide a better customer experience to help them to compete in the world of tomorrow. Much of our customer base is made-up of thousands of independent small businesses with many of them facing not just technological disruption but legislative challenges and anti-competitive practices by global businesses. As LKQ UK and Ireland, we can champion their rights with the decision makers that matter and work in concert with major trade bodies to act as their voice, with some major successes in recent years such as the recently introduced Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Order. We pride ourselves on being a responsible business that’s deeply invested in its industries and communities and committed to a sustainable future.

After an accident in July of this year, I was incredibly grateful for the support and care I received from my family, friends, and colleagues. Their presence played a crucial role in my recovery, allowing me to heal in the best possible way. More importantly, it provided me with a moment of clarity, genuine reflection, and deep appreciation. I often wonder what I would have done without their support and where I would be today without them. At that time, I couldn't have needed their help more; they were there for me. I consider myself fortunate and will always be thankful and appreciative. The harsh truth is that for many, "life happens," and they find themselves without the essential support or people around them to help lift them during their times of need. With this firmly in mind, I will be taking part in the Ben Automotive Industry Charity 2025 Industry Leader Challenge with Melanie Lowe, David Brookfield, Ian Leedham This will involve trekking for 10 hours a day across harsh terrain, covering up to 27 kilometres each day in the intense heat of the Sahara Desert for a duration of 5 days This adventure is all about supporting the incredible work the Ben team does for those within our industry - Every 15 minutes, someone calls the Ben helpline and in 2023, more than 12,500 people and families were supported. Ben's initiatives play a vital role in providing the necessary resources, assistance, and companionship to those facing challenges. They can bridge the gap for individuals who are struggling, ensuring that no one has to endure their hardships alone If you'd like to sponsor us, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/ecqpCdhv Thank you for anything you can do - it will make a real difference. #LKQUKI #KeepingYouMoving LKQ Bodyshop Division (UK & ROI),LKQ Europe LKQ UK and Ireland Matt Wigginton
