Let’s hear it for our Student Visionaries candidates Aditi, Krish, and Krisha! Aditi, Krish, and Krisha are all Juniors at Munster High School. Aditi is involved in many different organizations and clubs including DECA, HOSA, The Munster Volunteer Project, and serves as the active leader of the school’s Color Guard. Krish donates their time to the Munster Volunteer Project, volunteering for the Northwest Indiana Food Bank, and is a part of their schools Varsity tennis, Science Olympiad, and Policy Debate teams. Krisha works to support their local hospital, is a part of their school’s HOSA, DECA, and Debate clubs, serves as the social media manager for the Indiana College Core, and much more! Aditi, Krish and Krisha are all extremely excited to be a part of Student Visionaries with LLS this year. Let’s give a warm welcome to our Student Visionaries Candidate, Josh! Josh is a Sophomore at New Trier High School. Outside of classes, Josh participates in several sports teams, where he has leadership roles. He also served in a Big Brother program in Summer Camp mentoring younger campers. The LLS mission is personal for Josh, who lost his grandfather to Lymphoma. After seeing the impact of his sister Mira’s campaign in 2024, Josh is excited to participate in Student Visionaries of the Year and can’t wait to make a difference to patients and families throughout Illinois. Give a round of applause for our Student Visionaries Candidates, Isabela & Mira! Isabela is a Sophomore and Mira is a Junior at Buffalo Grove High School. Isabela is an honors student, liaison for student government, class board representative, and PR officer for for Jewish Culture Club. Mira works as the treasurer for student government and Jewish Culture Club and is currently completing an internship at a local hospital. Both Isabela & Mira are passionate about the medical field and understand the importance of providing resource and support for blood cancer patients and their families. “Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today to impact our future”. These words from Isabela’s grandfather motivate these candidates to make the most of their opportunity through Student Visionaries of the Year.
