Early Bird Discount - Ends December 15th The 2025 Local Governance Summer Institute at Stanford (LGSI) features Stanford University faculty, Silicon Valley innovators and entrepreneurs, and highly experienced managers in City and County Government. Introducing innovative problem-solving approaches, leadership skills, and strategic thinking necessary to navigate the new realities of accelerating technological and environmental change in the American West and around the world. Applications for the 2025 institute are open and reviewed monthly on a rolling basis until the program reaches capacity. LGSI offers City Managers, County Executives, Regional Directors, Assistant City Managers, Department Heads, Assistant Department Heads, Division Managers and Senior Agency Management team members in California an opportunity to share their knowledge with program participants and acquire tools for improving local government performance with top Senior Local Government Managers. It offers a unique blend of learning from the faculty of Stanford University and experts in Local Government from around the State. The 2025 LGSI program will be held in-person on the Stanford University campus and at sites in Silicon Valley from Sunday, July 20, 2024 thru Friday, July 25, 2024.
