Lorien Harmony Hall's courtyard just got a summer makeover with a new grill, pizza oven, and patio furniture, setting the stage for endless fun! To kick things off, they hosted a sizzling employee cookout, where everyone enjoyed mouthwatering hamburgers, hotdogs, and a smorgasbord of toppings and sides. They also celebrated by giving team members the chance to do "wheel spins", which is a way Lorien likes to celebrate perfect attendance, being on time, and being a good employee! One lucky winner ended up taking home $250! Plus, they celebrated the birthday of our beloved COO, Wayne Brannock, who's been a cornerstone of our Lorien team for years. Employees participated in a safety learning day to remember with training on proper AED techniques, evacuation, and fire extinguishing procedures. This week was National Youth Apprenticeship Week! At Lorien, we are very grateful for our partnership with the Howard County Public School System, which allows high school students to get valuable on-the-job experience while advancing their healthcare careers.
