76% of parents are concerned about their children's safety at school Parents in Ukraine and Brazil are twice as concerned about school safety as in other countries. According to the study ‘Protection of Childhood: Security Dimensions for Children and Adolescents’, created at the initiative of The Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, 55% of parents in Ukraine often worry about their children while they are at school. 📌 One of the Ukrainian respondents described his feelings as follows: ‘I feel that my child is in danger when there is a war in the country, when bullying happens in the classroom, when teachers are indifferent.’ The situation in schools remains difficult: 8 out of 10 children have experienced problems affecting their safety. The main reason for this in Ukraine is the interruption of classes due to air raid alerts (44% of respondents). ⚠️ More than half of children have missed classes over the past six months, and in Ukraine, 51% of children have missed school more than once. The survey involved 9,000 people from 15 countries. The study was conducted by Catalyse Research, a consulting company, in cooperation with BRAND UKRAINE and with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). Ph: Elena Tita

💙 💛 Today, Ukrainians celebrate the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. We are immensely grateful to each one of you who have defended and are defending the country in battle. We are eternally indebted to you. The BRAND UKRAINE’s ‘Ukraine’s global perception report 2023’ showed that ‘brave people’ is the most common association with the country in the international media. It covered 31% of all publications mentioning brand attributes. The second most frequently used characteristic was ‘democratic country’, which was used to describe Ukraine in 22% of articles. These results once again show that the world sees, respects, and admires our brave struggle for freedom and independence. We are sincerely convinced that the greatest credit for this goes to our incredible defenders. It is you who defend the freedom and values of Ukraine and the whole of Europe on the battlefield every day, and it is thanks to you that we have the right to be called a ‘brave people’. Thank you.

🔺️ Every sixth child does not feel safe at home Girls are more likely to feel threatened at home than boys. This is evidenced by the results of the study ‘Protection of childhood: security dimensions for children and adolescents’ presented at the First Ladies and Gentlemen's Summit. Today we are talking about the safety of children at home, one of the four dimensions that the Summit team has studied. Among the problems that have the greatest impact on poor health, children named quarrels at home (37%), war (30%), social media (30%), and separation from their parents (17%). By the way, among the countries where children feel most safe: Serbia, Kenya, the United Kingdom, and Brazil. ❗️А Ukraine is on the list of anti-leaders. It also includes Japan, Iraq, and France. The study was conducted by Catalyse Research, a consulting company, in cooperation with BRAND UKRAINE and with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). It involved 9,000 people: 300 parents and 300 children in each country.
