🎉 What an unforgettable night at the Natter Community Final Event & Awards 2024! I’m deeply honored to have been recognized as one of the Community Rising Stars alongside the brilliant Robert Beeton and Fibria Novytasari . 🌟 Huge thanks to everyone who voted for me—this recognition means so much, and it reflects the incredible support and inspiration I’ve found in this community. 💬 Robert Beeton you’re an absolute star! Your determination and focus are inspiring, and I’m confident you’ll soon be ranked #1 on Uxcel —keep going, my friend! 💡 Fibria Novytasari , it’s always a pleasure to share the stage with you. Your expertise in accessibility is unmatched, and anyone who wants to learn about this vital topic should definitely check out your work. You’re amazing! 💚 The Natter Community has been a cornerstone in my journey as a designer. It’s a place where you don’t just connect—you learn, grow, and form meaningful friendships. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with over 500 amazing individuals directly and indirectly through Natter. Every conversation, workshop, and event has been a stepping stone in my professional and personal growth. ✨ A major highlight of the evening was the Feedback Workshop by Jessica Sherratt and Mark Sharp Their insights into the “I Message” framework and the reflection process truly stood out. Check out modern.works Here’s what I’m taking away from this powerful session: • Always listen, clarify, and observe when engaging in feedback conversations—communication is more than just words. • Practice reflection to uncover blind spots and focus on actionable improvements—what you’re not aware of could be your biggest opportunity to grow. • Feedback can feel uncomfortable, but it’s essential for growth. Embrace it and use it as a tool to collaborate better. It was also inspiring to meet incredible people like Charlotte Rimmer , Uyen Luu , Janice O. , and Karine Tardivel during the feedback workshop. Our engaging conversations reminded me of the magic of this community—connecting with people who share knowledge and kindness. 🏆 Congratulations to all the award winners: • Volunteer of the Year: Ummai Kully P. • Favorite Talk of the Year: Jamie Dickinson , The Art of Good Feedback • Community Partner of the Year: Uxcel And so many more who made this year extraordinary! A special thank you to MONY Group plc the host of the night, as well as Matt Snodin and Ryan Davis for making the evening a success. A big shoutout to our sponsor, Miro for supporting such an impactful event. Lastly, thank you to Lee Jeffery, the Natter Team, and everyone involved for creating a space that fosters growth, collaboration, and continuous learning. To me, Natter isn’t just a community—it’s a family that supports and uplifts each other. Looking ahead to 2025, I’m excited to see how we continue to grow and inspire each other. 💪 #NatterCommunity #Networking #Feedback #ContinuousLearning #
