💡 The Self-Help Trap: Are We Pushing Ourselves Too Hard? 💡 We live in a culture obsessed with self-improvement—books, podcasts, motivational speeches, and “hustle” mantras dominate our feeds. But what happens when motivation fades and discipline alone isn’t enough? 🤔 In his latest blog, LYNC Project Manager: Covenantal Pluralism Initiative (CPI) - South Florida, Carter Brown explores the self-help trap and why transformation isn’t just about pushing harder—it’s about leaning into something greater. Spirit-help, not self-help, is what brings lasting change. At LYNC, we believe real transformation happens in relationships, community, and collaboration—not in isolation. 🔗 Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/gzq7S6cV Let’s talk—how do you balance self-improvement with rest and faith? 🚨 Faith at Work: A Game-Changer for Business & Society 🚨 📢 "If you think of what makes people motivated, for many people it's their faith, and if they're made to leave that at the door when they come to work, sort of their main motivation, inspiration in life is left outside, and they're half a person, so making your workplace as faith-friendly, building religious freedom in the workplace is good for business, it's good for people, and it can change the world." - Brian J. Grim from Religious Freedom & Business Foundation Grim says with religious freedom at a 16-year low and 192 countries reporting cases of religious harassment, businesses have a unique opportunity to lead the way in creating inclusive environments that support employees' full identities—including their faith. ✅ A faith-friendly workplace fosters higher employee engagement ✅ It drives stronger ethical leadership ✅ It amplifies policy change by empowering employees to advocate for religious freedom Religious freedom isn't just a human rights issue—it's a business imperative. Let's build workplaces that embrace faith and diversity, unlocking employees' full potential worldwide. 💡 How is your organization making space for faith at work? Let's discuss in the comments. 👇 #ReligiousFreedom #FaithAtWork #CorporateResponsibility #IRFSummit #DiversityAndInclusion #WorkplaceCulture #BusinessForGood

Are we missing a crucial voice in the room when discussing #peacebuilding and #religiousfreedom? Dr. Eva Witesman, professor and social impact expert, sheds light on the untapped potential of business leaders in fostering stability and bridging divides in conflict regions. 🌍💼 Witesman said business leaders with employees on either or both sides of a conflict have tremendous influence on many stakeholder groups. Engaging them in related conversations + working with them to find language/practices that matter for a specific community is an automatic venue—hopefully improving the dynamic. 📲 Follow us for more: @lyn_community #ReligiousFreedom #BusinessForGood #Peacebuilding #EvaWitesman #SocialImpact Do you agree? Freedom of religion is the cornerstone of any free and thriving society. At Love Your Neighbor Community (LYNC), we are deeply grateful for the support of Templeton Religion Trust, which empowers us to foster this freedom through partnerships with faith communities, governments, and civil society. In the last year, we’ve accomplished remarkable milestones together: ✨ Advanced cross-cultural religious literacy training in Kazakhstan. ✨ Preparing for a Dialogue of Declarations with Uzbekistan. ✨Trauma healing programs reaching over 500 children and families in Ukraine. ✨ Supporting multi-faith dialogue in Georgia, Berlin, and Prague, fostering trust across divides. At LYNC, we offer solutions and share experiences, knowing progress isn't achieved through a single event but through sustained effort, as CEO Wade Kusack says: 'It’s not a product of just one event or one conference. It takes time.” With patience and partnership, we’re creating lasting change. 💙 Additional and special thanks to those that partner in this important work IRF Secretariat and Multi-Faith Neighbors Network #ReligiousFreedom #LYNC #LoveYourNeighbor #TempletonReligionTrust #BuildingTrust #SocialCohesion
Freedom of religion is the bedrock of any free and prosperous society. And that’s why grantee Wade Kusack and his organization, Love Your Neighbor Community (LYNC), has a mission of promoting that freedom through partnership with people of faith, governments, and civil societies in strategic community building while extending the love of God in a practical and tangible way. LYNC takes a relational approach to progress and works to create relationships with the government, civil society, and religious community. They see the path forward as providing structure and strategy to the budding relationships and dialogue. Local partners often include a government department or local university. LYNC works to first build trust and then building the opportunity to come in. "To articulate that, we do not give answers: we offer possible solutions. We offer experiences of how we’ve seen it work in other countries, and the progress that those countries have made." Kusack says, “It’s not a product of just one event or one conference. It takes time.” Learn more: https://bit.ly/3yQUkCV
