As a part of our $12 million pledge to support hurricane relief and recovery efforts, our team has been working tirelessly alongside incredible organizations and volunteers to build and deliver 100 tiny homes to those in need during this holiday season. Each tiny home can sleep three to four individuals and are electrically heated. “My vest allows me to look back at how far I have come through my journey. Each badge and pin have a story behind them, and they each represent a piece of the future I am building here! I never imagined that I would take a role as store manager when I began here in 2005 as a part-time cashier. Thankfully, I had two store managers that saw I had some spunk - in their words - to move up in the company. Without their push and belief in me, I am not sure where my career would have gone. Once I became a leader in the stores, it was my mission to give the people I led the same push and belief. I will never forget when two of my head cashiers called me to tell me that they had both been promoted to operations managers in separate locations. They told me that without my care and push, they would have never thought to move up in the company.
