As we say goodbye to summer and hello to autumn, we have lots of fun activities and events planned that we can’t wait to share with you. 🍂🎃 Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up: * 🎨 Trunk Decoration Idea Contest: Starting September 1st through the 30th, we’re collecting ideas to decorate our Tesla Y trunk for the Annual Trunk or Treat at the shelters. The winner will receive a 4lb box of Starburst! 🍬 Send your creative ideas to ideas@LRGCares.org.� * 🥞 Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Brunch: Join us on Sunday, September 22nd, from 1 PM to 4 PM as we thank all our amazing volunteers and donors! There will be a light brunch, special recognition, and lots of fun. We can't wait to celebrate with you!� * 🧥 Coat Drive for Families in Need: From September 1st through the 30th, we’re collecting coats, hats, scarves, and gloves for children of all sizes. 🧣🧤 Drop-off locations are listed on our website. Let’s keep everyone warm this winter!� * 🍂 Fall Festival: LRG Cares will spread joy and fun at the Fall Festival on October 25th! Recently, people from all over the United States have sent items to support the Welcome Home Closet. The Welcome Home Closet is a joint initiative with The Atlanta Missions that provides essential items for homeless women and families transitioning to their new homes. These donations come with more than just the necessities—they carry heartfelt messages of hope and encouragement.
