Located in the heart of the North Hills neighborhood of Raleigh, NC - a bustling mixed-use development - this 8,500 SF upfit for Ruth's Chris Steak House creates a bespoke dining experience through the integration of high-end materials and finishes. The project aims to create a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere with high-end materials and finishes. The design includes a spacious dining area, a well-appointed bar, and private dining rooms, all thoughtfully planned to maximize space and enhance flow. The concept for the new restaurant is Fire and Water, featuring a fire wall on the exterior patio, a backlit copper flame at the host desk, and a copper patinaed flame and water pattern art wall in the lobby. The bar has a cascading water feature, the main dining room has blue tones and water-like movement, and the private dining room features orange and copper tones with fire-like movement. Attention to detail is evident throughout, from custom lighting fixtures to intricate woodwork and stone accents. The state-of-the-art kitchen facilities support the restaurant's high culinary standards, enhancing the dining experience and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of North Hills.   #ls3p #architecture #interiors #planning   Optima Engineering

The MOBRO Marine Office Building has been honored with the Award of Excellence for design by AIA Jacksonville! This new two-story corporate office replaces the former MOBRO Marine headquarters and includes various support spaces for employees.   Inside, the building boasts durable polished concrete floors and proudly displays photographs of the MOBRO fleet. This new 130,000 SF campus for Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia enhances the community by offering essential food distribution, a marketplace for local agencies, and volunteer opportunities. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to address food insecurity by providing a centralized hub for food collection, storage, and distribution. The building features a modern, sustainable design with energy efficient systems and materials in an effort to minimize environmental impacts.   The food bank includes a spacious warehouse with advanced refrigeration and storage capabilities, a commercial kitchen prepared to triple the impact in the community and dedicated spaces for volunteers. The architectural design emphasizes accessibility and community engagement, with ample parking, easy-to-navigate layouts, and inviting public spaces.
