This marks a historic milestone as Malaysia’s first project utilizing Dura Technology’s advanced DURA® UBG in a railway bridge for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). Originally designed as two 40-meter spans, the project required a redesign to an 80-meter single span due to unforeseen utility and tunnel challenges. Dura Technology was selected to handle this critical project as the only company specializing in 80-meter girders, reflecting our unmatched expertise in the field. We are excited to contribute to this groundbreaking infrastructure development and look forward to setting new standards in the industry. The DURA® UBG, crafted from Ultra-High-Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) and high-carbon-high-tensile steel fibers, sets a new standard for bridge engineering, offering a lightweight, durable solution for spans ranging from 35 to 105 meters. Its reduced weight not only simplifies handling, transportation, and installation but also allows for optimized foundation and support structures. At Dura Technology, we are committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly development. UHPFRC, with its high performance, low carbon footprint, affordability, and superior durability, embodies these values. This advanced material, featuring a cement matrix with compressive strength between 150 MPa and 250 MPa, includes steel fibers that provide ductile behavior in tension, complemented by passive reinforcement where applicable.
