When asked about himself and working for Lukos, he shared, "I have served in the Army full time from 2013-2017 at Fort Bragg, NC. I am currently serving in the Florida Army National Guard. I have opened a business with my family in Tampa from 2018-2022. I have also served Hillsborough County as a law enforcement officer from 2023-2024. I have been married to my wife, Oanh Nguyen, for nine years. We have two sons together named Tyson and Tyler. I am very excited and ready to learn and work hard at Lukos." Lukos welcomes Serena Reid to the Wolfpack! Serena is a Media Support Specialist on our NSW-MSOFS contract. Serena retired from the US Marine Corps after 21 years of service. Serena is very passionate about her family and her community. She worked with the Carlsbad, CA library as a volunteer tutor with their Adult Literacy Program. She is a member of the Oceanside, CA Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the North San Diego County chapter of the NAACP. She is currently the sole caregiver for her mother who lives with her in Oceanside. When asked about working for Lukos, she shared, "This position is like the culmination of all my experiences throughout my career. All that this mission requires here at Navy Leadership, Education and Development Command, touches on being an instructor, video editor, and Media Support Specialist. Lukos welcomes John "JP" Paul to the Wolfpack! John is the Task Lead for our AF-LL contract. An Air Force veteran, he spent 29+ years in Active Duty before retiring in 2014 as a Colonel. During his time, he accumulated over 3000 hours as a C-130 pilot in various Major Commands to include Air Combat Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, Air Force Reserve Command and Air Mobility Command. Lukos welcomes Roderick Hopkins to the Wolfpack! When asked about himself and working for Lukos, he shared, "I am from Detroit, Michigan, but I have been living in Atlanta, Georgia since 2018. I enjoy hiking, traveling, and trying new food. Before this position, I was a data analyst contractor for the CDC in the Office of Readiness and Response for the U.S. National Authority for Containment of Poliovirus. Previously, I was a Scientist contractor where I assisted in developing manuscripts regarding COVID-19 prevention interventions in workspaces. I received my BS from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and moved to Atlanta to get my MPH from Emory University. I will be working as a Public Health Analyst Lukos contractor for the CDC in the Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities Division. Lukos welcomes Michael Gillespie to the Wolfpack! Michael was hired to support our USCG contract as a Course Design and Developer. When asked about himself and working for Lukos he shared, "After 22 years as an Operations Specialist, I recently retired from the Coast Guard. Throughout my career, I’ve gained extensive experience in command and control systems operation, training, curriculum development, search and rescue planning, coordination, and execution. I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity as I spent six years teaching the very course I’ll be helping to develop. Returning to a role where I can work alongside many familiar faces and old friends is a privilege. I’m pursuing a degree in communications, and I plan to continue my studies in human performance technologies afterward. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my wife and son, where we spend most of our time playing sports and exploring nature.
