LUMA Residential is pleased to welcome our new Vice President of Operations, Crystal Moya CPM®, CPO, SHCM, HCCP   Crystal is an accomplished real estate and property management professional, bringing to LUMA over 21 years of experience in the industry. A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Management, Crystal earned Cum Laude honors, demonstrating a strong foundation in both business acumen and leadership. She holds several industry certifications, including Certified Property Manager (CPM), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). These credentials reflect Crystal's expertise and commitment to providing exceptional management and service within the housing sector.   Prior to LUMA, Crystal served as Regional Vice President of Property Management at NRP Group, overseeing a portfolio of over 10,000 units and successfully leading the management of 51 communities of which 18 were new construction lease-ups. In addition to the responsibilities she had at NRP, she has been an influential figure in the Texas Apartment Association (TAA), where she currently serves as Co-Chair of the ONE Conference for 2025 and Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee.    In addition all of the wonderful accolades she has received in our industry, Crystal is also licensed Texas Realtor. National Native American Heritage Month is celebrated annually in November. It's a time to honor the rich history, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Native American and Alaska Native peoples to the United States. This November our LUMA teams will celebrate Native American Heritage Month together by watching “Gather” an educational and informational 2020 documentary about Native American efforts to reclaim their foodways and cultural identities. The film follows Native Americans as they work to reclaim their ancestral foodways and build sustainable food systems.
