🚀 Strengthening Luxembourg’s Digital Future: A Successful Working Visit to California🌐 Luxembourg Ministers Stéphanie Obertin and Elisabeth Margue had a productive working visit to Silicon Valley. This mission was a key step in shaping Luxembourg's national strategies for data, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies, aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration on a global scale. 🌟 Key Highlights: 1️⃣Innovative Partnerships and Industry Engagement: Meetings with NVIDIA, Palo Alto Networks, AMD, Microsoft and Oracle showcased advancements in cloud solutions and cybersecurity and delved into pressing topics like accelerated computing, and applications of AI for industries and Governments. 2️⃣ Academic Collaboration: Visiting Stanford University, we exchanged insights with researchers in quantum technologies, including Luxembourg’s own Felix Mayor, reinforcing our ties with leading academic minds. We were impressed by the collaborative research culture Stanford University School of Medicine. 3️⃣ Community Connections: At the Luxembourg consulate in San Francisco, we met with representatives of the vibrant Luxembourg community, further cementing cross-border relationships. 4️⃣Ethics in AI: Closing the visit, we engaged with the Center for AI & Data Ethics at the University of San Francisco, addressing the critical question of ethics in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. 💡 This visit underscored the importance of positioning #Luxembourg as a global leader in the digital economy. De lëtzebuergesche PHD Kandidat Felix Mayor war bei dëse Gespréicher op der Säit vun der Delegatioun vun der Uni Stanford och präsent.     🇫🇷 La ministre déléguée auprès du Premier ministre, chargée des Médias et de la Connectivité, Elisabeth Margue, effectue actuellement une visite de travail en Californie, ensemble avec la ministre de la Digitalisation, de la Recherche et de l’Enseignement supérieur, Stéphanie Obertin. 🇺🇸🤝    Le séjour a commencé par un entretien avec Gerard de Graaf, Chef du bureau UE à San Francisco et qui revêt également la fonction de « Envoyé en matière technologique » européen aux Etats-Unis.   La délégation s'est ensuite rendue chez Microsoft, partenaire de longue date du Luxembourg, notamment dans les domaines de la cybersécurité et des solutions cloud. Cette étape a permis aux parties d’avoir des échanges fructueux au sujet des stratégies nationales en cours d'élaboration en matière d'intelligence artificielle et des données.   L’Université de Stanford a constitué la troisième et dernière étape de ce premier jour. La délégation a pu s’entretenir avec une équipe d’experts en informatique quantique, dont fait partie Felix Mayor, candidat PhD luxembourgeois.
