As the dust settles on what was a record-breaking MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins this past weekend, that saw just over 1800 riders raise $10.2M for WA cancer research at the Perkins, I wanted to personally thank the riders and their incredible supporters who made this possible. We are fortunate to have some of the most committed participants in the country for this event. Some of them have been doing the Ride since its inception thirteen years ago and others are just discovering it as first-time Riders. We would not be able to provide the exceptional experience we do without an outstanding group of loyal, humble and dedicated partners who have stepped up to help us make cancer history. To our title partner MACA Ltd, thank you so much for your long-standing, passionate commitment to conquering cancer. This ride would not happen without your support, and we are so proud to stand alongside you in this fight. Thank you to our major event and dollar match partner – Woodside Energy. On the weekend, over 1850 riders took to the roads between Perth and Mandurah to beat cancer for the biggest Ride yet! We are beyond delighted to share that a record-breaking $10.26 million has been raised for cancer research. This provides medical researchers with ongoing support to discover compassionate treatments for the toughest cancers that affect our loved ones such as melanoma, ovarian, breast, brain, head and neck, and prostate cancer. This ensures that lifesaving research can continue, no matter what. It's an incredible effort and riders should feel immensely proud.
