It was super cool to see Magnolia Project's first Career Exploration Law Class in partnership with Roseland Public Schools in action last week! Our students completed a mock trial, sat in on two cases at the Sonoma County Superior Court, and met with District Attorney Carla Rodriguez! 🙃 I'm so grateful for the support of our amazing law mentor, Dave King, and Empire College School of Law for making this happen. ☀️ As Magnolia Project continues to expand our on and off-campus Career Exploration offerings, we hope that more North Bay professionals will join us! Our students explored careers in law, culinary, fashion, public safety, radio and so much more! 🙃 💗 We're so grateful for our business, non-profit and government agency partners for hosting our middle schoolers!

This $150,000 prize is awarded to the best new non-profit in the Bay Area developing innovative programs to empower low-income, under-represented students to successfully earn a college degree and enter the workforce.
