Confused about what 𝐃𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂 actually does? Let’s break it down….. Think of DMARC as a 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 for your email. ✈️ When your email arrives at its destination, the receiving server wants to know: - 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬? - 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫? Without DMARC, it’s like arriving at a foreign country without a passport. ❌ No one knows if you are who you say you are, and you could easily be denied entry. With DMARC, it’s like having a stamped passport and a visa. ✅ It tells the receiving server, “Hey, this email is legitimate, and here’s the proof.” Here’s what DMARC does: 1. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬: Works with SPF and DKIM to verify your email’s identity, ensuring it’s genuinely from your domain. 2. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫: When your emails consistently pass DMARC, receiving servers know you’re trustworthy. The more they trust you, the more likely your emails are to land in the inbox instead of spam. 3. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Stops scammers from pretending to be you, which also helps maintain your reputation. Setting up DMARC isn’t just about preventing fraud—it’s about building trust. Major ISPs like Gmail and Yahoo now consider DMARC essential for email delivery, so having it in place is key to ensuring your messages reach the inbox. Before launching your next email campaign, make sure your emails have the right passport to travel safely. 🛫 ------ Found this valuable? Follow for more insights on Email Deliverability

Cold emailing has become a real challenge, hasn’t it? It’s no longer just about crafting the perfect message. If your emails aren’t getting delivered, all that effort is wasted. I’ve been reflecting on this a lot lately, and something that’s really stood out to me is the importance of having the right (and dedicated) tools—especially when it comes to making sure your emails actually land in the inbox. One tool I’ve found useful is Mailivery - Land in the Inbox It’s not one of those do-it-all platforms—it’s purely focused on email warm-up. And honestly, that focus makes a difference. Unlike other warm up tools, you don’t pay per inbox, so whether you’re warming 50 or 500 mailboxes, the cost stays the same. I’m not one for overloading on tools, but when something genuinely makes a difference, it’s worth sharing. Have you considered a dedicated warm up tool?

Tracking links can be a double-edged sword in cold emailing ⚔ Typically they aren’t recommended, but if used wisely….. …they can provide valuable insights Follow these tips to 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀: 𝟭. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 Avoid shared default domains that can have poor reputations or even be blacklisted. Set up custom tracking domains to control your reputation and ensure only your campaigns affect it. 𝟮. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 Make sure your tracking domain matches your sending domain, e.g., if your primary domain is example(dot)com, use track.example(dot)com. This consistency reduces the risk of being flagged as suspicious. 𝟯. 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 Treat your custom tracking domains as if they are your primary sending domains. Use SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to establish trust with email service providers and bolster your sender reputation. 𝟰. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Regularly check the blacklisting status of your tracking domains. Even if your sending domain is clean, a blacklisted tracking domain can harm your overall deliverability and inbox placement. 𝟱. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 Stick to one link per email. Multiple links increase the risk of your email being flagged as suspicious. Fewer links mean fewer variables that could negatively impact your deliverability. 𝟲. 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗨𝗽 Just like your sending domains, your tracking domains need to age and build reputation.
