We are sharing an important initiative to address Maine’s critical shortage of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters and improve communication access for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals. The first step to expanding access is hearing directly from you. By completing the TIME Project survey, you can help shape decisions that will impact the DDBHH community and the interpreters and providers who serve them. The survey is open through January 8, 2025 and is available in ASL and English. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and your input is vital to creating meaningful change in Maine.
