The NCTE (National Council for Teachers of English) conference last weekend was AMAZING! We met so many extraordinary educators and person after person (even high school teachers) stoped by our booth because it was so darn pretty. I particularly adored meeting Dr. Renata Love Jones, a professor at Georgia State. She and I had the best conversation about the importance of hands-on, play-based learning. Miss you already Renata! And the extraordinary elementary Jenny Magee who is stocking her grant-funded literacy lab with Maitri Learning materials. We can't wait to see what you put together Jenny!
