Did you know our childcare program provides 23,400 meals a year at no charge to families? These nutritious meals help families save on weekday food costs so that they can instead invest in other essentials for their homes and children. This season, support your community by donating grocery or gas gift cards, cooking and serving meals, or joining in upcoming fundraisers. Small acts of kindness make a big difference! #SeasonOfGiving #CommunityLove #NHNonprofit #EndFamilyHomelessness

Family homelessness often goes unnoticed because of societal stigma and fear of judgment. Many families move from one temporary place to another—seeking safety for their children and avoiding unstable situations. Unfortunately, this often means their struggles go unseen, leaving the crisis of family homelessness overlooked entirely. Breaking the cycle of homelessness is imperative—not only to strengthen our communities and interrupt the impact of trauma on future generations but also to dismantle the stigma so families feel safe and supported when they reach out for help. #EndFamilyHomelessness #CommunityOutreach #HomelessnessAwarenessWeek #GreaterNashua

Myth: You will see families experiencing homelessness on the street. False! For safety, many families avoid the street and sleep in cars, on friends' couches or stay in homes with unsafe partners. But these are not stable, safe options. Family homelessness looks different than many think, yet the impacts are the same—uncertainty, fear, and impossible choices, which no family should ever have to experience. #MargueritesPlace #EndFamilyHomelessness #HungerAndHomelessnessAwarenessWeek #NewHampshire #NashuaNH

True or False: Only single men experience homelessness in NH. False! Families with children make up a significant portion of those experiencing homelessness in New Hampshire. Over 4,000 children—enough to fill a minor-league baseball stadium—are without stable housing. These families are part of our everyday lives, sharing grocery aisles and school bus rides, all while quietly facing this reality. Let's work together to ensure they're both seen AND supported this week and every week of the year. #FamilyHomelessness #MargueritesPlace #HungerAndHomelessnessAwarenessWeek #EndFamilyHomelessness

Beneath the beauty of New Hampshire's landscapes, a hidden crisis quietly affects the lives of thousands: family homelessness. Many families—parents and children—aren't visible on the street but instead seek temporary refuge in cars, on friends' couches, or even in closets, as a recent Marguerite's Place Graduate shared. During Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, join us in raising awareness about this issue affecting our neighbors, classmates, and community members. #NH #NewHampshire #HungerAndHomelessnessAwarenessWeek #EndFamilyHomelessness #MargueritesPlace

🌟 Meet Angelina, our new Residential Programs Case Manager! 🌟 Angelina has been with Marguerite’s Place for some time now, lending her heart and expertise to support our residential, community, and childcare programs. She shared, “I am driven by the opportunity to create a positive impact on people’s lives, supporting them in various capacities, and empowering them to reach their goals.” What does she love most about MP? “The environment! Everybody at Marguerite’s Place goes above and beyond to ensure every individual has the support and resources they need to succeed.” Starting as an intern, Angelina felt immediately welcomed and part of the team—a feeling she’s now excited to share with our residents. Welcome, Angelina! We're so lucky to have you as part of the MP Team! #MargueritesPlace #TransitionalHousing #NHChildcare #NashuaNH #NHNonprofit

Today, we honor the life and legacy of a beloved former Marguerite’s Place teacher, Denise Jackson, who dedicated over 20 years to the students and families in our childcare program. Her passion for working with children was felt deeply by all, complemented by an irreverent sense of humor that brought joy to her students and colleagues alike. She will be missed profoundly, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her or being loved by her. ❤️
