The Visionary behind Likhari Foundation Meet Gurnam Likhari—an idealist, engineer and philanthropist With an illustrious 36-year career, Gurnam Likhari is among the selected engineers of his time who cleared the UPSC Engineering Services Examination, and served the nation as a professional gazetted officer. Gurnam Likhari has always been a responsible and caring individual, serving both, as an educator and a guiding light for his younger siblings. A social, humble and down-to-earth person holds very strong spiritual beliefs and in the concept of ‘ik-onkar’, as his guiding principle. A man of deep social commitment believes in giving back. He says, “I’m blessed, I’m thankful to God for bestowing me with everything. I believe, it has always been my responsibility to serve our people and never forget our roots. Our roots, have taught us to be a fighter, to serve, help and support the society.
