  • Join us in congratulating our Core Value Award nominees Chris Ehrlich and Sione Vaka for exemplifying 𝙏𝙀𝘼𝙈𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆 🎉 "I nominated these two because [they're down here in Bakersfield, far from home], kicking butt every day doing really great work on this project. But where they've gone above and beyond is after hours. After work, they're getting their crews together to play softball, basketball, pickleball. It's hard being away from home, but these guys have done such a great job of creating an environment that people want to be a part of. People are asking to be on this job. People want to be on this project because they know there's such a great atmosphere down here. It's a fun job and these two are leading great projects that people know we're going to win on." - Joe Snyder, Field Operations Manager Thanks for helping us build a dream team, Chris and Sione!!! I've been super humbled and proud to be on a team with Paul, being able to be his wingman day in and day out. I couldn't think of a better mentor. He's a great person. He always has a smile on his face, even when things are getting ugly. Thank you Paul for being a great role model at M3 [and] keeping the train rollin'!" - Cody Moore, M3 Project Engineer We appreciate you, Paul! • In partnership with SMUD, M3 Service was able to generate an estimated 549 tons of lifetime carbon savings for a customer— the equivalent of removing 118 cars from the road— through just one single project. The multi-year Capital Christian project included several phases to modernize Capital Christian School and their church campus to reduce carbon emissions and significantly increase energy efficiency. ⚡ As SMUD's 2023 Mechanical Contractor of the Year, M3 Service was tasked with multiple gas-to-electric conversions for their customer's campuses, including replacing 67 gas Rooftop Units (RTUs) with state-of-the-art electric heat pumps. • Join us in celebrating Sione Vaka, our 2024 Power of One Award winner! 🎉 Sione now joins the distinguished ranks of past winners of this annual peer-nominated award. His impact on the M3 team speaks volumes, as reflected in the heartfelt stories shared during his nomination. Sione’s character, dedication, and positivity inspire those around him daily, and we are truly fortunate to have him as part of the M3 family. Here’s a snapshot of the incredible impact Sione has made on his teammates: ○ Sione has done an incredible job on one of our more complicated jobs. He brought his brothers to work for us and the team has put over 8,000 hours of OT into this job. Sione has brought a great safety culture to the team! ○ He's always been one to push himself and others to new heights. The projects he takes on are always successful and he does an excellent job of setting up his crew for success. He's taken what he's learned coming up in the trades and applies it in everything he does and is a great mentor for all the new guys coming into the field and to Mark III. ○ Sione has led and lived the teamwork value by creating an atmosphere where everyone is heard, everyone feels like they are part of the team no matter what the trade, and has made being out of town feel good by doing things like having the team join a softball league, hosting BBQ's, encouraging the team to live together and always checking in on his team! We also want to give a shout-out to the other final two nominees, Makayla Oei and Justin Tucker! Cheers to the Power of One Winner, Sione, and the exceptional individuals who make M3 shine.
