When I was in school, I waited until the very last minute to speak up on my degree choice. When I was at uni, a fully remote placement year prompted me to reconsider what I thought was the right career for me. Keep shouting out your wins. No, seriously. Until you’re blue in the face. Until you’ve lost your voice. I used to think that publicly sharing my achievements and milestones was self-obsessed. So I waited for other people to find out themselves before acknowledging them. But last year, when I saw my feed full of people posting their wins, I changed my mind. Maybe I should celebrate my wins publicly more often. For a start, it feels GREAT 🤩 But also, no one else is going to know about your achievements if you don’t shout about them. So whether you’ve completed a course, spoken at an event, whatever you’ve achieved… Let people know. After all, if you don’t, no one else will.

I’m naturally a very chatty person. The one exception? Work meetings.
