  • When I was in school, I waited until the very last minute to speak up on my degree choice. When I was at uni, a fully remote placement year prompted me to reconsider what I thought was the right career for me. Making the right career choice the first time round is rare for so many young people 😓 Because we have to rely on our decisions to lead us to the right choice, instead of being taught how to make the right decision in the first place. So if I had to turn back the clock, here's how I'd make my career choice with confidence 🤩

  • Keep shouting out your wins. No, seriously. Until you’re blue in the face. Until you’ve lost your voice. I used to think that publicly sharing my achievements and milestones was self-obsessed. So I waited for other people to find out themselves before acknowledging them. But last year, when I saw my feed full of people posting their wins, I changed my mind. Maybe I should celebrate my wins publicly more often. For a start, it feels GREAT 🤩 But also, no one else is going to know about your achievements if you don’t shout about them. So whether you’ve completed a course, spoken at an event, whatever you’ve achieved… Let people know. After all, if you don’t, no one else will.

  • I’m naturally a very chatty person. The one exception? Work meetings.
