Yet just compare the health stats between today and back then: 1950s: 13% of U.S. adults were classified as obese. Today: 42.4% of U.S. adults are classified as obese 1950s: 0.93% of people have Type 2 diabetes. Today: 7.4% of people have Type 2 diabetes. 1950s: Heart disease before 50 was uncommon. Today: Heart disease is a leading cause of death for people under 50. While our healthcare has drastically improved, our food has drastically become worse. If you want to live a healthy life in 2025, don’t overcomplicate it. Eat real foods. P.S. If your grandma wouldn’t understand the ingredients in it - it isn’t a “real” food.
