Fast forward 4 years: Team Guidesly is building an incredible platform well beyond my initial dreams and solving the problems of thousands of guides. The downside, I have hardly any time for my passion for fishing…😊 Today, I am beyond excited to share a significant milestone on this journey: Guidesly has raised $9.5 million in Series A funding, led by an incredible team at Aspen Capital Group participation and support from YETI Capital, Marquee Ventures, Elysian Park Ventures, HalfCourt Ventures, and Derive Ventures. Additionally, some great individual investors joined the Team Guidesly Investor team. Guidesly has helped thousands of outdoor recreational guides over the last few years. Anybody remember this? The Skins Game was a treasured part of the Thanksgiving holiday for me when I was growing up, alongside football, turkey, and Charlie Brown. And now we are bringing it back. I'm so excited to announce that Pro Shop is partnering with the PGA TOUR and Propagate Content to bring The Skins Game back to television on Black Friday in 2025. This is an exciting moment for Pro Shop as we are ending our first year of business which saw us raise a $20m series A funding round; acquire and relaunch the digital golf brand Skratch; acquire and expand the golf lifestyle/apparel business Sugarloaf Social Club; complete the production for Full Swing season 3 on Netflix; create and launch The Creator Classic at The Tour Championship (100M impressions); and build an incredible team that has grown to 49 full time employees. We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our Tech Take Back Box.  Trashie customers have asked us for more ways to recycle and now all of those old cords, chargers, laptops, and cracked phones have a safe home.   This is a huge step forward in our vision to transform the way we all deal with the excess stuff in our lives.  Our goal is to collect 25K lbs of e-waste before Christmas.
