Every year during fall semester, the Marquette University Center for Professional Selling holds a competition called Pitch Purpose. Each student gives a two-minute pitch about a charity to a panel of judges. The winner receives a $500 check for that charity. The contest, sponsored by Federated Insurance, does more than raise money for good causes; it gives students a chance to make a sales pitch with real stakes. “The combination of experiential learning and servant leadership is what makes our program unique," says Jessica Ogilvie, executive director of the Center for Professional Selling. https://lnkd.in/gMsBkNdN
