His survival was uncertain—but Gunnar’s strength and the unwavering support of his family and care teams at Munson Healthcare and Mary Free Bed have led to a remarkable recovery. Once struggling with basic functions, Gunnar is now walking again and working hard in outpatient therapy at Mary Free Bed in Grayling. Every day, he takes another step toward independence and a future filled with possibility.
