Our founder was recognized last night as "Small Business Leader of the Year" as part of the "CEOs of the Year Awards" from the Washington Business Journal. "I am incredibly grateful for this recognition today from the Washington Business Journal as small business leader. This to me is a validation that perhaps my vision isn’t so crazy, after all. So many people questioned my decision to leave a stable job, not leverage my education and become an entrepreneur making what used to be just a street food across latin america, empanadas. MAS means more or better in Spanish. Our brand, MasPanadas, is “MAS” because we are so much more than an empanada. We are about better food, better jobs, better nutrition and overall better lives. It is a empowering pocket of goodness to achieve the american dream" https://lnkd.in/gCMSKPAK

At Latin Goodness Foods, we take pride in fostering a culture of continuous learning. This December, we held a company-wide, two-day training focused on key topics such as Food Safety, Workplace Safety, and HR. Participation spanned every level of the organization, reinforcing our shared commitment to these essential areas. By ensuring everyone, including leadership, is equipped with the knowledge and skills to uphold the highest standards, we continue to prioritize the safety of our employees and the quality of the food we deliver. Our dedication to employee growth drives us to provide comprehensive, well-rounded training materials. We believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable—even for essential topics like Food Safety and HR. That's why we incorporated interactive activities throughout the sessions to make the experience dynamic and memorable. At Latin Goodness Foods, we’re not just building skills—we’re building a stronger, safer, and more connected team. #training #CPG #womenowned
