Caryn Goulet has been involved with several organizations including Wilmington Youth Soccer Association and Middlesex Youth Soccer League. She’s been the Outreach Coordinator for TOPSoccer since 2006 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mass Youth Soccer (2013-current) and is the current president of Middlesex Youth Soccer League’s Board of Directors. Caryn is a longtime USSF certified coach (recreational, travel, and state District Select program) and USSF certified referee. She won the United States Youth Soccer (US Youth Soccer) 2017 National TOPSoccer Coach Of The Year. #soccer #influencer #Massachusetts

Thomas C. Ahearn had a tremendous impact on the growth and success of Marshfield Youth Soccer, including being president of the Marshfield Youth Soccer League for several years. He spent a lot of time recruiting parents to be coaches, referees, assistant coaches, and administrators. Furthermore, he spent several hours at the fields each week to make sure they were ready to play before the first match kicked off. John Murphy, a native of Quincy, is a committed and passionate soccer leader with over 30 years coaching experience at every level of the game from beginning at Quincy Youth Soccer to Major League Soccer (MLS). He has spent 12 years working within the Mass Youth Soccer system as club coach, district coach, state team coach and coach educator, impacting countless players, coaches and administrators along the way. John pioneered and developed two MLS Youth Academies (New England Revolution and Colorado Rapids Soccer Club) from the ground up at the outset of Major League Soccer's commitment to youth and community engagement. Prior to his current position as the head men's soccer coach at Georgia Southern University, he had stops at Assumption University in Worcester and Massasoit Community College in Brockton. John holds a U.S. Soccer Coaching Education A license, UEFA Pro Badge from the Scottish Football Association, and a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma. Mario Bisol has been involved with soccer since his youth, and was a member of the Leominster High School Blue Devils teams that would challenge for a state title. After having three children of his own, he helped to create and grow the Fitchburg Youth Soccer program, including the oversight of a travel team to play in Mass Youth Soccer. Mario was a part of the rejuvenation of multiple soccer fields in Fitchburg - most notably Moran Field - and was instrumental in bringing girls youth teams to MTOC on multiple occasions as a coach. #soccer #influencer #Massachusetts

Erich Simmons has had an accomplished career as a referee at the state, regional and national level. He was the Mass Youth Soccer Young Male Referee of the Year and US Youth Soccer National Young Male Referee of the Year in the same year. Simmons was a Major League Soccer referee between 1997 and 2006. He later became a national assessor and has been involved with Professional Referee Organization since its inception. Simmons became a U.S. Soccer Referee Program national assessor and was recognized by the Massachusetts State Referee Committee as the recipient of the Steven A. Dilvo DiPlacido arrived in Boston from Italy in 1966. He served as a U.S. Soccer Referee Program National Instructor and FIFA referee. Dilvo also served as state director of assessors for Massachusetts State Referee Committee for several years. He led the referees for the 1984 Olympic Games, refereed in the NASL from 1978 - 1984 and refereed in many FIFA matches, including CONCACAF, Olympic, and the Intercontinental Cup. Dilvo was inducted into the Massachusetts Adult State Soccer Association Hall of Fame in 1999. #soccer #influencer #Massachusetts

John has been a member of the Mass Youth Soccer Board of Directors since 2022 as well as heavily involved in the TOPSSoccer program with both King Philip Soccer (13 years) and Mass Youth Soccer. Angelo Bratsis of Norwood, Mass. was a refereeing legend in Massachusetts and United States. He was a past recipient of both the Eddie Pearson Award and FIFA Special Merit Award. Angelo was a member of the FIFA Panel of International Referees for 12 years beginning in 1980, and represented the United States in 13 countries on 4 continents. Along the way, he refereed more than 130 international matches and refereed in no fewer than five professional leagues. Angelo was instrumental in building the instructional program for USSF. He was on the national assessor staff for over 30 years, and the national instructional staff for more than 40 years. #soccer #influencer #Massachusetts
