Continued progress at Sunnyside Retirement Community Village Court Apartments. The slab has been poured for the 4 new apartments and framing has begun. Trusses will be going up soon. Inside the new atrium, you can see the beautiful heavy timber trusses which weigh approximately 6000 lbs a piece. Also, notice the tongue and groove ceiling which matches the aesthetic of the ceiling above the pool across the street at the Boaddus Vitality Center. Project progress at Sunnyside Retirement Community Village Court Apartments. From before we broke ground to today. As you can see the atrium is now coming together. One of the challenges with this project is that there are residents still living in their Village Court Apartments. This isn't new to us as we have completed several projects in senior living facilities, many at Sunnyside, where we had to plan around residents and their safety during a project. Safety is always at the forefront of our plan when designing senior living spaces.
