No matter which direction you approach Poet Hill Place from, it is apparent that this is one of Worcester's most impressive project. SMC Management Corp.'s 210 unit project commands the horizon from every angle. Callahan Construction Managers has reached the roof on over half of the project, and the MEPS trade partners are working feverously to complete their rough-in activities in the first zone (Zone "D") of the building. The roofers, and air/vapor barrier & window crews are drying in Block "C", while the framers are busy setting trusses & wall panels on the upper floors of Block "B", and on the third floor of Block "A". In the cold winds of Worcester, MA Callahan Construction Managers are pressing on with the framing of SMC Management Corp.'s Residences at Poet Hill. With roughly 150 trade partners working in unison, the roofers have completed the TPO on Block "D", and has stocked the roof for Block "C". Going vertical at Northern Bank's signature branch in Littleton, Mass., The first floor will house bank services including a teller line, drive-up teller, conference space, offices, restrooms, coin/cash room and an ATM. The second floor will be an approximately 700 SF mezzanine space for the staff breakroom and a balcony space that overlooks the public branch areas below. Maugel DeStefano Architects designed a new 228,000 SF concrete tilt-up industrial facility in Norton, Mass., for Yale Appliance. The building's 200,000 SF ground floor includes a showroom, warehouse, service bay area with 42 overhead loading dock doors, and training rooms for technicians and staff. The 28,000 SF second-floor mezzanine houses Yale Appliance’s corporate offices and additional storage. The office space was designed to reflect Yale Appliance’s bold blue and yellow branding while maintaining a sophisticated and modern aesthetic with wood accents and a sleek design.
