In the latest episode of In the Field, we head to the City of Cedar Park, Texas, where McKim & Creed helped the City integrate two diesel generators to keep the water plant up and running in the event of a power outage. Last month, our team joined Lower Cape Fear Water and Sewer Authority (LCFWASA) for the groundbreaking of a major infrastructure project aimed at enhancing the reliability and capacity of its raw water transmission system. The second phase of a new 54-inch raw water transmission main spans approximately seven miles and will parallel the existing 48-inch main, which supplies Pender County, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA), and several industries along US Highway 4211.
