For the façade renovation of an iconic 40-story building in the heart of downtown Dallas, Layher partnered with MDM Scaffolding Services, LLC to deliver a solution defined by precision, safety, and innovation. Using our versatile Allround® system, we achieved the perfect balance of safety, aesthetics, and functionality to support extensive masonry work. Remarkably, the building remained fully operational and safe throughout the two-year project—a true testament to meticulous planning and flawless execution. 💪 One of the standout features of this project was the use of over 8,000 of our Protec Panels! These panels replaced traditional netting, offering functionality paired with a modern, sleek aesthetic that blended seamlessly with the urban environment. This approach was especially vital for a flagship building in a district gearing up to host a major global event that you’ve probably heard of!⚽ The scaffolding system, stretching 502 feet (153 meters) in length and standing 40 feet (12 meters) tall, was designed to deliver: - Heavy-duty support for stone repairs - Overhead protection for pedestrians - Secure access for construction crews All of this was executed with tight urban logistics in mind, showcasing Layher’s unparalleled adaptability and engineering expertise.
