Last week, the Dutch Membrane Society (NMG) provided a fantastic platform for professionals, academics, and students to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in membrane research. During the NMG Membrane Symposium on Friday, October 11th, Ioannis Tyraskis from TNO presented a MEASURED Project poster in the poster session. 📢 MEASURED Project will be presented at the #CHISA2024 conference! The 27th International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering will take place in Prague, (CZ) from August 25th to 29th, 2024. The CHISA Congress is among the most important in chemical engineering events all over the world, which every year brings together more than 5000 scientists from all over the world. We are pleased to announce that this year's AMK will be a stage for the presentation of #EU projects on membrane research and development. We would like to start with the MEASURED Project. MEASURED - funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation program - aims at developing and demonstrating advanced membrane materials for Pervaporation (PV), Membrane Distillation (MD) and Gas Separation (GS) technologies applied to acrylic ester production, membrane manufacturing and gas separation from a carbon capture & utilization (CCU) stream. By the project's end, MEASURED technologies aim to reach TRL7 with over 20,000 hours of industrial operation, including comprehensive modeling, simulation, and Life Cycle Assessment to enhance market readiness and societal acceptance. MEASURED consortium is composed of 17 partners from 7 different European countries (ES, IT, DE, NL, SI, SE and FR), and the activities are coordinated by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).
