It was a packed house for Success in the U.S. – Meet the Minnesota MedTech Ecosystem at #MEDICA2024! Interim Starts Director Peder Hatling and other industry experts highlighted valuable insights and essential steps for healthcare organizations looking to expand into the U.S. market. Key takeaways included: - Navigating Success in the U.S.: Each company’s journey is unique. Whether from the UK, EU, or other regions, understanding the pathways into the U.S. is essential for sustainable growth and market fit. - Leveraging Federal Initiatives: Programs like SelectUSA offer support in the critical early phases, from concept development to team building, helping companies lay a solid foundation for entry. - The Dual Importance of FDA & CMS: While FDA approval is crucial, it’s only part of the puzzle. Many companies miss the equally important need for a reimbursement pathway and CMS strategy, which work in tandem for a holistic market approach. Medical Alley is proud to continue its work supporting healthcare innovators, with over 800 organizations in our network, helping health and technology companies across the globe thrive in the U.S. Thank you to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development's Minnesota Trade Office (JoinUsMN) for organizing this event and to all who attended!

Joel Theisen, RN, is not a fan of the word "care," but that's not because the Lifespark CEO and Founder doesn't have a lot of it. As an RN, he saw firsthand the shortcomings of the healthcare system in the United States, and that's why he's on a mission with his company to reimagine it. Referring to Lifespark as the "anti-care" company, Joel instead chooses to laser focus on health and wellbeing. In other words, trying to keep people "off care." Hear how he's working to achieve that goal in the latest episode of The Medical Alley Podcast. Listen to the episode here or find us on all major podcast platforms: https://lnkd.in/gT-fYTtU
