♥️Today, Team Medrio wears red for all our friends, colleagues, and loved ones who have been affected by heart disease.♥️ Heart disease is a leading cause of death in Americans-about 1 in 20 adults aged 20 and older have coronary heart disease [NIH]. Furthermore, nearly half of women ages 20 and older are living with some form of cardiovascular disease [Go Red For Women]. What can we do to change this? Many instances of heart disease are preventable. Raising awareness of the risk factors and how to live a heart-healthy lifestyle can truly make a difference. 👉Check out these resources from the NIH for tips on protecting your heart: https://bit.ly/40Rwilr As researchers, we can do much more to ensure that women are equally represented in cardiovascular clinical trials. In 2020, women represented only 38% of research participants [Go Red For Women].  👉Get involved with Research Goes Red, an initiative aimed at accelerating the understanding of cardiovascular disease and how it uniquely impacts women: https://bit.ly/3CGYqPW #OurHearts #WearRedDay #WearRedandGive

💙🚀 20 Years Strong! From the very beginning, Medrio’s mission has been simple: reduce customer pain.  Medrio founder Mike Novotny saw the strain on the industry back in 2005—months of work to build databases and expensive mid-study changes—and knew there had to be a better way. That vision became Medrio. Fast forward two decades, and our commitment to listening to customers and adapting to industry needs is stronger than ever. “Every day, we are talking to [customers] about how their research needs are changing, what it is that is going to most effectively help them to perform efficient and effective, high quality research, and we are making changes to our product and our services to accommodate those needs.”, says Medrio CEO Nicole Latimer. 🎉Join us in celebrating Medrio’s 20th anniversary.  Cheers to many more years of making clinical research more efficient and effective!

🔔📅 EU CTR takes effect next week! By January 31, 2025, all ongoing clinical trials in the EU/EEA must comply with the new regulation and be recorded in the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS). The CTIS will enhance transparency and consistency across trials, but it also introduces new demands for sponsors.  They’ll have to respond to tighter regulatory timelines and increased public access to information. Ensure your team is fully prepared and compliant with the new directive. Check out our blog for a comprehensive readiness checklist and FAQs to get ready for EU CTR: https://bit.ly/3X2AePd #EUCTR #CTIS #CDISC #ClinicalTrials
