A trip for the Eras. Not sure my favorite part: Seeing my girl all glammed up Running the ramps to get merch Exchanging bracelets with anyone Initial reaction when Taylor came out 3.5 hours of nonstop singing & dancing Mama & sis enjoying their spa/dinner date It was honestly the… Most fun I ever had. Walking back to our hotel, Ry said she felt like the luckiest person ever to go with me. Of course she doesn’t fully realize it but I felt even luckier to be her date. It was rare, we were there And we’ll remember it All too well. Thankful for the experience & the memories! 🫶 P.S. What’s the best concert you’ve attended?

I used to pick up any product line that was offered. Until I made myself the product line. My medical device sales career started with: Putting endless miles on my vehicle Buying dead end lunches to look busy Standing in an operating room for hours Chasing down any surgery I could get into Running instrument sets from hospital to hospital Now I spend my time: Partnering with KOL physicians Building medical education events Collaborating on social media strategy Uniting sales, clinical, & marketing teams Creating content and copy that tells a story Training reps on more than features & benefits Showing how to maximize in-service opportunities And adding in an occasional Taylor Swift reference. What moment flipped the switch? Figuring out what I was authentically good at. That was the actual game changer. ✌️ P.S. Anyone been to the T Swift Education Center? Left my business card if they ever need a keynote. #medicaldevices #medicaleducation #sales

3 patients a day is all you need I met a doctor recently His breakeven is 3 patients a day Yes, he's in specialty care Yes, you are going to say it doesn't apply to you Yes, you have to set things up right and be creative But here's the thing It IS possible Here are my takeaways: 1/ Be lean Only offer what is most value additive to your patients The rest is waste 2/ Low overhead When your expenses are low, your upside increases dramatically Not sure how? See no. 1 3/ Know your numbers How much do you make per patient? How much does it cost to see a patient? How much are you paying in overhead expenses? Now you know what you need to do 4/ Be in the community Scared you won't get 3 patients a day? Go meet with every doctor who may refer to you within a 15 mile radius Bring pastries for the office That's right, you're in sales too, sorry But it's really just speaking with your colleagues and building a relationship Maybe it isn't 3 patients a day But there is a number And you certainly can P.S. want to see more elements of the business of healthcare and how to apply them to a thriving private practice, then you’ll want to see The Healthcare Breakdown where you can get real world business insights and apply them to your practice Check it out here: https://buff.ly/47NeASx See you out there!

Public Speaking 101 Know your audience Get them to engage early Be able to connect their dots Make eye contact with everyone Speak directly, don’t talk in circles Establish credibility, don’t hammer it Practice your storytelling, not the script And if you really want to make an impact: Maintain an energy level from start to finish. Doesn’t matter it’s speaking to adults about LinkedIn. Or student athletes using Twitter for college recruitment. Thankful for the opportunity to speak to this group. Love to see high schools & travel organizations prioritizing these off the field skills. Tools for success for sports & in life. ✌️ P.S. What public speaking tips would you add? #publicspeaking #salescoaching #socialselling

We should all feel bad for UnitedHealth Group It only made 3% net margin through Q3 It only made $8.9B net income Last year it made $16.9B net income It only made $21.8B cash from ops Last year it made $34.2B cash from ops It only made $24.5B op income Last year it made $24.7B op income It only made $9.53 per share Last year it made $18.01 per share Have some sympathy for a company clearly struggling It only has $299B in assets A mere 9% increase in the last 9 months It could only afford $11.7B in acquisitions A mere 39% increase over last year It only took $166B in revenue for federal and state plans A mere 8% increase over last year 3% y'all Times are tough for UHG Keep them in your thoughts P.S. if you enjoyed the satire, you'll love The Healthcare Breakdown, where I make fun of the "payor" racket a lot using numbers and an occasionally humorous brand of... um, well, humor Check it out here: https://buff.ly/47NeASx See you out there!

Everyone is looking for a short cut to success.   In medical sales, it’s pretty straightforward:   Show up Listen closely Ask good questions Listen even more closely Do all that you say you will do Seek out education and coaching Be intentional in building relationships Build your reputation as a trusted resource   Remember, I said straightforward - I didn’t say easy.   Success doesn’t have cheat codes.   But failure sure does. ✌️ P.S. What would you add to the list? #medicaldevices #medicaleducation #sales

I get asked this all the time, “what do you miss most about the military”? The answer is simple… [CAMARADARIE] A group of individuals—most from wildly different backgrounds—working together to achieve a common goal. Under extreme conditions, Immense amounts of stress, And insurmountable odds, We always found a way. Someone always had your back. It was one of the most liberating feelings in the world. I miss it—deeply. But I’m more grateful that I was able to experience that level brotherhood at least once. Most will never know it. Here’s to building something special with your people. Hoping all of you enjoy your Veterans Day! 🇺🇸
