🌟 Inspiring the Next Generation of Leaders! 🌟 MembersFirst Credit Union had the privilege of participating in mock interviews with some of the brightest and most driven students from Dr. John Cook’s Finance Pathway at Woodville-Tompkins Technical and Career High School. Our very own Ashley DuBois, alongside other business partners, had the opportunity to meet these incredible ninth and tenth graders—motivated, polished and ready to excel! Our student-led credit union office located inside Woodville Tompkins played host to some of these mock interviews. It’s experiences like this that remind us of the importance of investing in the future. We’re excited to continue supporting these young professionals as they grow and prepare for what's coming soon and life beyond the school bells and book bags. Have you heard of FODAC? Friends of Disabled Adults and Children, FODAC, is an organization that provides refurbished home medical equipment and services at little or no cost to individuals with disabilities. MembersFirst Credit Union is very proud to be FODAC’s Credit Union! Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending the ribbon cutting of FODAC’s newest facility in Savannah! This organization is a great asset to our community and will provide help to people with injuries and disabilities of all ages regain their mobility, independence, and quality of life. FODAC has several volunteer opportunities and seeking for help from our local community. If you are interested please visit their website at FODAC.org. Another great day at Woodville-Tompkins Technical and Career High School! We appreciate Alayla and Noemi's excellent presentation on financial literacy as well as the anecdotes and experiences you shared about your year-long internship as teller interns at MembersFirst Credit Union. These two outstanding young women have had the chance to design marketing campaigns, train in several local branches, give presentations to elementary and middle school children, and represent the credit union at various career fairs. This is a prime illustration of the positive effects produced by forging strong community relationships and partnerships.  We are grateful to MembersFirst Credit Union for providing this life-changing experience to our students in our Student-Operated Branch. We are equally grateful for the mentorship and guidance provided by Ashley DuBois, Savannah Market Business Development, and Laura Columbia, Branch Supervisor.
