hawt take alert 🚨 as someone technically Gen Z (but just barely on the cusp), i’m curious — has anyone else in the workforce noticed this? 👀 i wrote this as mostly a joke, but lowkey i'm wondering.. is “emotional bandwidth” becoming part of the corporate vocabulary now? and how do we balance that with the need to like... get shit done?

Everyone thinks memes are just for laughs... until they see who's using them. Big names like HubSpot, Semrush, and Hootsuite? They're all about the memes. They have all the money for marketing and can pick the best people and tools. They could team up with famous stars, hire top directors, or use any fancy marketing stuff. But guess what? They're choosing memes. Why? Because even with huge budgets, they know memes grab attention like nothing else in this crazy online world. Want to see how they're doing it? Check out this collection of top marketing memes: https://lnkd.in/ekDcJBi9

My friend Charlie made $1 million from a meme account. I interviewed him for my book about meme marketing. Here's how a random dude in Minnesota became a millionaire memelord: In 2020, Charlie was bored at his finance job So he started a meme account based on a grumpy rich old man He named the account John W. Rich 😂 Charlie posts funny memes and ideas and replied to big accounts The result: His account grew really fast Soon, people were DMing Charlie asking "Can you write funny posts for me too???". Charlie was like "Ok, pay me." So Charlie started ghostwriting for CEOs.... *Pause* You're probably wondering: "Why would a CEO want a funny ghostwriter?" Attention is very hard to get online. Humor breaks through all the noise. Funny posts → Link Click → Sales You'd be surprised how many founders on LinkedIn and Twitter have ghostwriters (I should know because I was THE ghostwriter for 3 years 😂) *Anyways back to the story* As Charlie got more clients, he hired a team of writers He grew the business to $40,000+/month in revenue He found EVERY client through Twitter and Linkedin. Charlie then sold the agency for a deal worth ~$1,000,000 The moral of the story: Memes make millions. Because memes make millions, I built an entire software for meme marketing so anyone can do meme marketing just like Charlie You can try it for free here: memelord.tech

So sick what Jason Levin ✏️ is building… Found him through a client’s podcast edit - he’s turned meme marketing into a real business. His company, Memelord Tech, is essentially Canva for memes + sends daily trending meme alerts. Already used by Coinbase, Polymarket, Hubspot. Engagement metrics are insane. Started as a fan, now I’m helping grow it. Internet magic at its finest. The future of marketing isn’t corporate BS - it’s memes Because if you can make someone laugh, you can make them think, and ultimately make them buy.
