Want to make your mark on the Medical District? We’re looking for 6-8 volunteers to help us with an asphalt art project on Madison pictured here on December 7th. This is a unique opportunity to help install an artistic crosswalk in front of Southern College of Optometry. Volunteers will be instructed and engaged in a paint by numbers concept for installation. This event will promote our pedestrian walkways and provide traffic calming along Madison in partnership with MMDC, SCO, Toole, Marshall Arts and the City of Memphis. Ready to roll up your sleeves? Sign up to volunteer here: https://lnkd.in/eAVFj98T **Note: volunteers must be 18+ years of age and wear closed toed shoes and clothes that they do not mind potentially getting ruined. #AsphaltArt #Memphis #PedestrianSafety #Volunteer #MedicalDistrict #MMDC
